1. Shelter aid is an independent non for profit organization
2. It is non-denominational or non-political organization
3. The organization is working to support orphans, destitute and needy people in developing countries
4. It will provide food shelter health education and safety services for orphans and empower them to become self sufficient 5. It will work to prevent child labor or child prostitution
6. Provide disaster relief where necessary
7. Engage in fund raising activities in order to raze funds
8. It will liaise with other NGO’s with similar aims and objectives
