Shelter aid is an Australian based non-government organization committed to improving the lives of those affected by poverty throughout the world and aimed at giving the basic human rights such as access to food and safety.

Our organization purpose statement reflects a philosophy centered arround empowerment, respect and support of both individuals and community partners to ensure sustainability and encouragement local ownership of projects.

Shelter aid Australia Inc, a non-for-profit organization that engages in humanitarian aid work on a global scale. This website aims to inform the wider community of Melbourne about some of the global issues surrounding poverty, particular in regards to natural disasters and war-torn countries, as well as promote some of the community development efforts carried out in various countries and communities.
